Following the aquisition of Radio Tees by the Metro Radio Group, I was given the title of music librarian and played a key role in the transition of the library from vinyl to CD and the introduction of computerised music scheduling. Later, as Music Organiser, I was also responsible for the assembly of playlists and running orders, devising programme formats, operation of computerised music scheduling system, maintaining the stations recorded music output, music library administration, handling copyright returns, liaison with record companies, music press, copyright bodies, etc

Eventually, as senior presenter here, I also acted as programme controller and oversaw the day to day running of the programmes department for a couple of months whilst we sought a new Programme Director. I was also a key player in the relaunch of this station as Alpha 103.2 (see below).
Alpha 103.2 - now Star Radio (1996 -1997)
Eventually my title here became `Systems Co-ordinator` ??? What I actually did was...

I also operated the `Selector` music scheduling system and was involved with many aspects of the day to day running of the station including supervision of the other presenters and scheduling of programmes and music output. I implemented and produced the `Alpha 103.2 Action Desk` a daily on air feature pubicising local community, voluntary and charity groups.
Yorkshire Coast Radio (1997 - 1998)
Presenter of the Sunday Evening Show - initially a specialist music show called `Soul by the Sea` which I later turned into mainstream programming following the stations takeover by the Minster Radio Group.
